Werner Schaile wurde 1942 in Murrhardt (Deutschland) geboren und lebte bis 2009. Er war ein Künstler von herausragender Intensität, was man an seinen Werken gut ablesen kann.
Studium in Stuttgart an Freier Kunstschule und Kunstakademie in den Jahren 1962 -1969. Seit 1966 stellte er bei zahlreichen Gruppen- und Einzelausstellungen seine Werke aus und verkaufte auch in private und öffentliche Sammlungen. Die meisten Galerien, die seine Werke vertraten, waren im Raum Süddeutschland und Großraum Stuttgart angesiedelt.
Die frühen Arbeiten beschäftigten sich in Form von Tuschzeichnungen mit ernsten Themen wie Leben und Tod, Krieg, Schrecken, Eros und Erlösung. Später wird er freier, farbiger und abstrakt-gestisch. Seine Vorbilder sind anzusiedeln im Bereich um den abstrakten Expressionismus und Informel. Beim Betrachten seiner farbigen Abstraktionen von 1980 - 2009 werden oft Assoziationen hervorgerufen, die – auch aufgrund seiner speziellen Malweise – vom Unbewussten gespeist werden. Philosophische Ambitionen gaben Werner Schaile das Maß an Reife, die aus seinen Bildern zu uns spricht.
