Autodidacte, je plonge mon imaginaire, mes couteaux et pinceaux dans la lumière et les couleurs de ma belle région méditerranéenne, puis sur tous les supports que je trouve: toiles, carton, murs, et…boîtes aux lettres !
J'utilise essentiellement l'acrylique pour la spontanéité et le manque de minutie qu’elle autorise. Et pourtant mon inclinaison au geste impulsif, à « batchasser » comme on dit chez nous, n’ont d’égale que la minutie voire l’obsessionnalité des détails que je peux injecter dans une peinture. Ainsi les aplats et le pointillisme s’étreignent parfois sur une même toile, ou bien se défient d’une peinture à l’autre.
Les maîtres mots qui animent mon art: la lumière, les couleurs vivantes, le mouvement, et la recherche de nouvelles sensations.
Ce n’est pas un, mais deux coups de pinceau qui définissent mon travail. Deux identités , deux artistes : Claire V, la peintre naïve aux boîtes aux lettres, aux champs de fleurs à l’infini et au printemps qui chante. Puis Claire Morand, un peu plus mature, qui confie son instinct créatif à l’appel du mouvement dans un art plus moderne, exprimé dans le saut de skieurs, dans des courses folles de voiliers au vent.
Pas question d’effacer l’une au profit de l’autre. L’enfant et l’adulte cohabitent et collaborent dans mon inspiration comme dans la vie.
