ANGELO MAZZOLENI BIOGRAFIA ESSENZIALE
Angelo Mazzoleni nasce a Firenze il 7 Giugno 1952.
Inizia presto la sua attività artistica, coltivata già negli anni giovanili, sotto la guida di alcuni maestri e frequentando corsi di perfezionamento presso l’Accademia Carrara di Bergamo. In questi anni, partecipa a prime mostre di pittura in Lombardia ed in altre regioni italiane. Si interessa inoltre di paleontologia scoprendo, in particolare, alcuni reperti fossili importanti, donati ai musei di Milano e Bergamo, tra cui un erionide di un genere ancora sconosciuto ed al quale è stato dato il suo nome (Pseudocoleia Mazzolenii)nelle relative pubblicazioni scientifiche. L’interesse per il mistero del passato, per la storia, soprattutto primitiva, nelle sue dimensioni ancestrali, è uno degli altri elementi caratterizzanti la sua ricerca anche nel campo della pittura, prima ancora della fondazione,con altri artisti, del gruppo "NUOVA ARTE SINCRETICA".
E' attivo nelle arti da un tentennio
"Il percorso evolutivo dell'artista, ormai quarantennale, è contrassegnato da una personalissima ricerca delle origini del mondo, delle sue forze vitali, che, pur nella varietà dei temi e delle tecniche, appare un unico viaggio interiore attraverso il tempo e le realtà del nostro presente. Tre sono i momenti principali di questo suo percorso:
- l'indagine dei miti dell'infanzia e della storia primitiva attraverso rappresentazioni simboliche delle forze ed energie primordiali dell'uomo (origini storiche);
- la ricerca degli archetipi dell'essere e della vita, tramite scomposizioni in piani del reale o attraverso composizioni materiche, per lo più "ovuliformi" i cui temi principali sono: le simbologie dello spirito in una ricerca di sintesi inter-religiosa, che si esprime prevalentemente attraverso una rappresentazione materica dei sentieri della luce, di templi e labirinti dell’anima e, più di recente, delle dimensioni parallele. .
Tematiche che, in Angelo Mazzoleni, troveranno completamento, approfondimento e sintesi attraverso la fondazione, con altri artisti , del gruppo-movimento della "NUOVA ARTE SINCRETICA" che, come si evince dal relativo manifesto, propone una nuova ricerca sperimentale di sintesi e rielaborazione personale, storica, spirituale ed inter-etnica dei linguaggi artistici espressi dalle varie arti e culture nel tempo al fine della creazione di un’opera d’arte globale .
Per quanto concerne i contenuti e le fasi sperimentali l’opera neo-sincretica è caratterizzata in Mazzoleni da tre cicli i principali:
- il sincretismo storico;
- contemporaneo, con forte caratterizzazione sociale;
- il sincretismo spirituale.
