Pierre Lamblin is a contemporary French artist. Lamblin swiftly gained recognition in Cannes and Monaco from an international audience, and his creations have found their place in contemporary art collections around the globe.

From an early age, Lamblin was immersed in the world of art, developing a profound passion for the works of impressionist painters. His childhood in the Nicois garden was marked by endless hours spent capturing the beauty of flowers on canvas. However, a transformative moment occurred in his teenage years when he encountered Guernica and fell under the spell of Pablo Picasso, steering him away from impressionism and into the realm of cubism. This shift in artistic focus led to the adoption of his new pseudonym, "Paco Jacomo," under which he signs all his works.

Venturing into the world of blacksmithing and ironwork, Lamblin's artistic exploration expanded to sculpture. He began encapsulating everyday objects in tinted plaster, adding another dimension to his creative repertoire. Despite his lifelong dedication to experimental art, Lamblin had to wait around two decades before transitioning from a professional career to becoming a full-time visual artist.

A pioneer of the unique art style known as MultiLayers, Lamblin seeks to replicate the depths of the abyss in his works, inviting viewers to immerse themselves, much like a diver exploring a sunken ship. Using three to four metal plates, he masterfully reproduces complex volumes, preserving his creations for eternity by encapsulating them in a thick, transparent material—epoxy resin.

Through his art, Lamblin endeavors to convey a sense of joy, creating works that are not only visually compelling but also open to interpretation. His pieces delve into various concepts that hold personal significance for him, ranging from critiques of consumer society to explorations of climate and the impact of social networks.

Lamblin's favored themes include childhood, with sculptures featuring iconic characters like Mickey Mouse, and nature, where he explores the beauty of wild animals. After a period of sculptural exploration, Lamblin returned to painting, drawing inspiration from the styles of Combas and Basquiat.
