Phil Dynan

Phil Dynan is an American painter and sculptor who has exhibited his works throughout the United States and the United Kingdom. With a career spanning over 50 years, he has experimented with varying styles and mediums. Having mainly used serigraphy and acrylics in his art, he now paints using water-based oils, which facilitates blending. Dynan also creates mixed-media sculptures made from birchwood and plaster. These 3D, Reverse Perspective, animorphic wall sculptures are a combination of magic and mathematics.

Dynan studied art at Western Illinois University and more recently has practiced drawing skills with the London Life Drawing School. He also studied independently in France and spent a year painting with various artists in Paris. His studies are ongoing and he paints and studies every day.
