Boyko Petro est un artiste d'avant-garde ukrainien reconnu pour son talent exceptionnel et sa vision unique du monde. Né le 25 avril 1954 à Pryluky, dans la région de Tchernihiv, il a manifesté dès son enfance une passion pour le dessin et la peinture.
En 1985, Boyko Petro a été accepté à l'Académie d'État de peinture, de sculpture et d'architecture de Moscou, où il a étudié jusqu'en 1993. Pendant ses années à Moscou, il a régulièrement visité des ateliers d'art, des expositions et des musées, tout en communiquant avec des artistes renommés et en suivant les cours d'Ilya Glazunov et Zurab Tsereteli.
Après son retour en Ukraine, Petro Boyko a collaboré avec de nombreux artistes non-conformistes et représentants de l'avant-garde d'Odessa, tels que Yuriy Kovalenko, Eduard Usov, Petro Mironenko et Valeriy Basanets.
Depuis 2012, Boyko Petro est membre de l'Union nationale des artistes d'Ukraine.
