Although the web page reads that I am an emerging artist this is in fact misleading. I have actually been in the Artworld for over 30 years, my first sale being in 1981. Since then my paintings and commissions are on the walls of many private collections throughout Great Britain.
My interest in Art began at a very early age, not many toys about but plenty of paper and pencils. My father would draw cartoons and I think that's when I became interested in Art after seeing his work.
I don't have a particular field of Art that I can be catergorised in, due to the fact that I paint whatever I feel inspires me at any given time, be it landscape, portrait, surreal or contemporary. I just enjoy Art and the feeling I get when I finish a piece and it has turned out how I wanted it to.
Artists that influence my style range from Magritte, Van Gogh, Monet, Shepherd, Crawshaw, Vettriano and Hopper.
