Osvaldo Russo

I was born in Montevideo, Uruguay in 1957. I am based in Spain, Madrid 12 years ago.

I am a graphic designer, publicist and digital artist, with more than 40 years of experience.
I have been a teacher of drawing and illustration of different techniques for a period of 10 years.

Digital Genetics is, digital oil or watercolor painting, collage of techniques, resources, tools with which textures, strokes, brush strokes, blending, glazes, etc. are achieved.

It is a search for balance, harmony, shades, to achieve a unique and original work.

Training
1975 - Drawing and Painting at the Dr. Pedro Figari Art Center in Montevideo.

1978 - Master of Graphic Advertising at the University of Uruguay.

1983 - He founded "Taller Dos" with designer and artist Emilio Bolinches. In this workshop I worked until 1995 as director and teacher in the areas of drawing, design and illustration techniques.

Mentions and Awards
2010 - First Prize in the Poster Contest for Easter in Viveiro.

1989 - Honorable Mention in the Contest to cover the Book of the Telephone Directory of Uruguay.

1979 - Diploma of Honor in the Hall of Plastic Arts of Youth. Lions Clubs International Association, Uruguay.
