Memento mori is a conceptual painting on the philosophy of life and death. Anything that can bloom is bound to wither. The ending is inevitable, but no one knows when its time will come. Therefore, one must live here and now, remembering that everything can end at any moment.
Visually, the picture is interesting for its expressive textured strokes and the absence of a slender composition, which adds expression and sensuality to it.
