Ivan Fabani is een hedendaagse Italiaanse beeldhouwer die bekend staat om zijn onderscheidende benadering van houten sculpturen. Zijn werk combineert diverse onderwerpen en snijmethoden, evoluerend van een figuratieve stijl met verwijzingen naar Afrikaanse kunst naar zijn huidige focus op ronde, soms rustige, soms levendig golfachtige vormen, waarbij de nadruk ligt op concaviteit en convexiteit.
Fabani is een autodidact en is al sinds zijn kindertijd gepassioneerd door houtsnijwerk, een passie die na de leeftijd van 35 jaar nog sterker werd. Zijn eerste solotentoonstelling vond plaats in de Albo-galerij in Morbegno in oktober 2014. Hierna werden zijn sculpturen tentoongesteld in de Pezzini-showroom in Morbegno tijdens de inhuldiging van de nieuwe fabriek in januari 2015. Veel van Fabani's creaties zijn sindsdien op deze locatie te zien gebleven.
