Compiuti gli studi artistici a Catania e Palermo, dal 1958 svolge un'intensa attività artistica maturando molteplici esperienze di lavoro e di rielaborazione della cultura antica e contemporanea.
Ha esposto in numerose mostre collettive e personali e il suo iter artistico è ricco di riconoscimenti e premiazioni.
Sue opere si trovano in collezioni pubbliche e private in Italia e all'estero.

Per l'UNICEF Italia, 150 esemplari in terracotta del logo su base sferica, 2000.
Il suo curriculum vitae è depositato presso il Kunsthistoriches Institut in Florence - Archivio per l'Arte Italiana del Novecento.
Vive e lavora ad Aci Castello.
