Thierry Martin, fotograaf, maakt beelden die verrassen door hun diepte en gevoeligheid. Het detail is hier allemaal belangrijk. Inspiratie halen uit de omgeving.
Zijn werk, dat vooral de thema's zeegezichten en het platteland behandelt, onderscheidt zich door een nieuw licht. Hij houdt er ook van om andere fotografische thema's aan te pakken.
Zijn bewondering gaat uit naar fotografen als Lauren Biancani, Lucien Clergue, Jean Loup Sieff, Ansel Adams, Ralph Gibson, Robert Doisneau, Yousuf Karsh. Al heel jong werd hij gesponsord door het bedrijf Minolta (fabrikant van camera's).
Zijn belangrijke werk is het onderwerp geweest van meer dan zestig tentoonstellingen over de hele wereld (Frankrijk, VS, GB Japan, Orée, Latijns-Amerika, enz.). Thierry Martin heeft verschillende prijzen ontvangen (Stad Paris-Air France, Color Photography Prize van de stad Troyes, verschillende corporate film awards van Biarritz, prijs van de AVEC show).
