Gaele Flao is een hedendaagse Franse kunstenaar. De kunstenaar stelt zijn praktijk ten dienste van meerdere projecten zonder ooit te stoppen met het verkennen van nieuwe media. Haar humanistische temperament leidt haar naar samenwerkingspaden en hybride creaties waar schilderkunst kruist met dans, video, muziek, theater en natuur.
De schilderijen van Gaele Flao verschijnen aanvankelijk in de stijl van figuratieve olieverfschilderijen. Zijn werk met gravures, zeefdrukken en tekeningen weerspiegelt definitief zijn honger naar schetsen en de voor de hand liggende constructie van zijn onderwerpen, in een voortdurende zoektocht naar het leven.
Ze was de oprichtster van de vereniging "Les Ateliers du Bout de la Cale", die verankerd is in het centrum van de haven van Lorient en dienst doet als laboratorium en broedplaats voor maritieme en artistieke evenementen.
