Elke Thiébaut is een Duitse hedendaagse autodidactische kunstenaar. Ze is vooral een figuratieve schilderes, maar abstractie behoort nog steeds tot haar onderzoeksterrein.
Thiébaut vertelt verhalen in zijn schilderij dat is beïnvloed door renaissanceschilders, maniërisme, art nouveau, Duitse expressionisten; maar ook hedendaags hyperrealisme.
Zijn favoriete techniek is olieverf voor het figuratieve en acryl voor het abstracte.
Zijn werken zijn te vinden bij verzamelaars in vele landen zoals Frankrijk, de VS, Groot-Brittannië, Italië, Griekenland, België, Nederland, Duitsland, enz.
Sinds 1994 woont en werkt ze in Frankrijk.
