Pascal Cavalli is al meer dan 50 jaar een Franse tekenaar en beeldhouwer. Na zijn studie aan de Beaux-Arts volgde hij een opleiding beeldhouwkunst in het marmeratelier van zijn vader.
Pascal Cavalli bestudeerde alle beeldhouwers en kunstenaars van 1900 tot 2000. Ze lieten hem zijn kennis verbreden zonder er direct door geïnspireerd te worden. Jarenlang heeft hij, dankzij zijn technisch werk en de uitbreiding van zijn kennis, (Egypte, Griekenland, Italië…) een eigen stijl gevonden. Het wordt gekenmerkt door het toegankelijk maken van abstractie (uitvoering en prijs), de permanente bevraging van de creatie ervan, de zorg voor de kwaliteit van het uitgevoerde werk, de wens om rondingen, lijnen te combineren... .en een zoektocht naar schoonheid , harmonie en zachtheid . Voor hem staat het materiaal in dienst van een creatieve abstractie. Hij kiest zijn materialen met precisie, vanwege hun adel en hun duurzaamheid: steen, marmer, brons of staal. Hij wil de confrontatie aangaan met rondingen, lijnen, gladde en gepolijste oppervlakken om volumes te bouwen waar licht speelt.
Pascal Cavalli maakt ook veel gestructureerde tekeningen in Oost-Indische inkt.
Tijdens zijn carrière exposeerde Pascal Cavalli in heel Europa, met name in Zwitserland en Frankrijk. Zijn werken zijn te vinden in particuliere of openbare collecties in Frankrijk en in het buitenland: Duitsland, België, Italië, Zwitserland, Spanje, Verenigde Staten, Quebec, Nieuw-Zeeland... Hij maakt ook stukken voor lokale gemeenschappen: Nancy, Carsac-Aillac, Matran , Salignac Eyvigues.
