Marco Arduini is een hedendaagse Italiaanse schilder, geboren in 1959 in Reggio Emilia. Hij ontving zijn artistieke opleiding aan het Istituto d'Arte "G.Chierici" in Reggio Emilia en heeft sindsdien een unieke stijl ontwikkeld door te werken op hout, canvas en oud papier. Arduini's werk is sterk gebaseerd op Amerikaanse popart en verwerkt deze invloed in zijn serie "Travel Stories", die de geest van de jaren 60 en 70 weerspiegelt en tegelijkertijd elementen uit het hedendaagse leven bevat. Met behulp van tempera en acryl creëert hij stukken met een intense emotionele en chromatische impact, terwijl zijn werken op antiek papier - waarvan sommige dateren uit de jaren 1800 - gedetailleerde illustraties in grafiet en inkt bevatten met piloten, raceauto's en vliegtuigen in realistische verhalen.
Arduini's werk is onderdeel van de prestigieuze collectie van de Pio Alfarano en Virginia Ippolito Foundation, samengesteld door de beroemde kunstcriticus Vittorio Sgarbi. Onder zijn onderscheidingen was hij finalist in de Premio Arte Mondadori 2010 in Milaan en exposeerde hij op de 54e Biënnale van Venetië in het Italiaanse paviljoen voor Emilia Romagna in Reggio Emilia's Chiostri di S. Pietro in 2011. Momenteel werkt hij samen met de Radium Artis Gallery in S. Martino in Rio (RE), waar hij zijn dynamische, door pop geïnspireerde visuele taal blijft verkennen en ontwikkelen.
