Alina Chalaya, een kunstenaar uit Sint-Petersburg, Rusland, haalt haar inspiratie uit de wonderen van de natuur en de erfenis van kunstenaars als Mikhail Vrubel. Door middel van gedurfde oliestreken vangen haar schilderijen de essentie van de schoonheid van onze wereld. Ze exposeert regelmatig en streeft ernaar boodschappen over het behoud van het milieu over te brengen, waarbij elk stuk een scala aan emoties oproept en aantrekkelijk is voor zowel kunstliefhebbers als verzamelaars, en hen uitnodigt om een stukje van de pracht van de natuur in hun leven te brengen.
Chalaya's werken bevinden zich in collecties in Duitsland, Zwitserland, Cyprus en de VS. Momenteel werkt ze aan een reeks olie-abstracte landschappen, geïnspireerd door de plaatsen die ze tijdens expedities verkende, waaronder de Zwitserse Alpen, de oevers van de Indische Oceaan, rivieren en vulkanen in Kamtsjatka.
