Dominique Leblanc, geboren in 1965, woont en werkt in Frankrijk. Dominique, een kunstenaar gespecialiseerd in potloodtekeningen op papier, heeft met zijn delicate en introspectieve werken een plaats voor zichzelf veroverd in het hedendaagse artistieke landschap.
Catherine Pouplain begon haar artistieke carrière in de jaren negentig naast een carrière als muziekjournalist bij Radio France Internationale in Parijs. In 2004 verhuisde ze naar Bretagne en besloot schilderkunst centraal te stellen in haar professionele activiteit door in 2006 een werkplaats-galerij te openen in de vissershaven van Lorient. Gedurende deze periode organiseerde ze talrijke tentoonstellingen en evenementen met lokale kunstenaars. het consolideren van zijn rol in de artistieke gemeenschap van Lorient.
In 2011 nodigde een acteur haar uit om deel te nemen aan een theatraal project dat schilderkunst en komedie combineert, wat haar leidde tot live optredens en de oprichting van een gezelschap. Samen creëren ze een show voor een jong publiek, “Le Petit Phil Rouge”, waarin Catherine live schildert. Na de sluiting van zijn galerie in 2012 werd live optreden zijn hoofdactiviteit, maar schilderen bleef alomtegenwoordig in zijn leven.
In 2019 besloot Catherine zich meer te concentreren op het tekenen met kleurpotlood, wat al snel haar favoriete medium werd. Ze blijft werken en exposeert haar werken in Bretagne en daarbuiten.
