Ze is een fervent kunstenaar en reiziger en heeft van 2016 tot 2019 een academische opleiding gevolgd aan de Yaroslavl School of Fine Arts, Rusland. Sinds haar begin heeft Potelova verschillende media onderzocht, waaronder olieverf op papier, potlood, acryl, inkt, aquarel, encaustiek, grafiet en olieverf op karton.
