Ihor Miroshnycnenko, beter bekend als Miro, is geboren in 1960 en woont en werkt in Duitsland. Zijn artistieke carrière begon onverwacht in 2018, toen hij een blanco vel papier voor zich neerlegde en uit pure nieuwsgierigheid zijn eerste lijn tekende. Deze eerste verkenning veranderde al snel in een ware passie voor tekenen, een medium dat hij vandaag de dag met grote intensiteit verkent. Miro werkt voornamelijk met acryl op canvas, inkt op papier en gouache op papier, waarbij hij een kenmerkende stijl cultiveert die wordt gekenmerkt door surrealisme en expressionisme.
Zijn werk is sterk beïnvloed door kunstenaars als Francisco Goya, James Ensor, Emil Nolde en Ronald Brooks Kitaj.
