Ömer Erdoğan is een professionele fotograaf. Zijn interesse in fotografie komt vooral uit de cinema. Vooral regisseurs als Andrei Tarkovsky en Ingmar Bergman hebben hem altijd geïnspireerd. Literatuur is ook een van de bronnen van fotografie. Naast fotografie maakt hij ook video's. Hij heeft ook een korte film gemaakt. Hij werkt voornamelijk aan close-up straatportretten, minimalistische, abstracte en zwart-witfoto's.
Als onderwerp legt hij het liefst spontane momenten vast waar straat, natuur en mensen samenkomen. Beroemde portretten behoren tot zijn primaire voorkeuren voor portretten. Haar interesse in psychoanalyse weerspiegelt hij graag in zijn foto's.
Ömer Erdoğan werd geboren in Istanbul (Turkije). Hij is in 2016 afgestudeerd aan de Dokuz Eylül University - Faculteit der Literatuur/Geschiedenis İzmir (Turkije). Zijn foto's zijn in veel delen van de wereld gepubliceerd en hij heeft prijzen gewonnen in competities.
