Mher Chatinyan was born in Armenia in 1989. After graduating from high school in 2006, he became interested in painting and drawing. His first teacher and inspirer was his father - a teacher of painting and art history.In 2010 he graduated from Vanadzor State Pedagogical Institute, where he studied at the faculty of painting and graphics. Since 2012 - Member of the World Union of Armenian Artists. Since 2019 - Member of the Union of Artists of Armenia.
The paintings of Mher Chatinyan show the influence of Minas Avetisyan and Martiros Saryan. However, the artist managed to find his own style, close to abstraction, while remaining within the framework of traditional national painting[1]. The artist's works are characterized by a clearly readable composition and contrasting saturated colors.
