Zijn schilderijen zijn meestal denkbeeldige creaties die rekening houden met zijn aspiraties om te genieten van het leven gewoon in de schoonheid van de natuur, om gelukkig te zijn terwijl hij probeert anderen gelukkig te maken, om alleen geïnteresseerd te zijn in de essentie en daarom heel weinig aan "hardware".
Mijn stijl wordt vaak omschreven als een "kleurenstorm". Hij geeft uitdrukking aan een uiterst krachtige, frontale, gewelddadige visie op de wereld en 'menselijke beschavingen' Zijn werk is voornamelijk gebaseerd op 'post-fauvisme' en op 'lyrische abstractie' en op fotografie.
Deze productieve en zeer precieze kunstenaar legt direct contact tussen zijn artistieke reflecties en een doek – vaak monumentaal – of een blanco vel papier – op groot formaat – zonder weg te zinken in pure abstractie of zich te bemoeien met moeizame vertellingen, verklarende omwegen, demonstratief,…. Schilder en fotograaf (alternatieve fotoprocessen). Zijn schilderij en zijn werk komen overeen met een groot hedendaags en abstract schilderij. Hij beschouwt zichzelf als een schilder, maar ook als een verhalenverteller, of hij nu op doek schildert of met inkt op papier werkt.
