Maja Flügel ist eine kroatische Malerin die in Kroatien geboren wurde und in Deutschland aufgewachsen ist.
Sie malt vor allem, sehr ausdrucksstarke Bilder und liebt kräftige Farben von hell bis dunkel. Sie malt hauptsächlich mit Acryl und arbeitet auch sehr gerne mit Strukturpaste.
Am wichtigsten, ist es ihr, dass ihre Bilder, immer eine wichtige Botschaft übermitteln. Sie sollen den Betrachter zum Nachdenken anregen oder, aber auch, tief in seinem Inneren berühren.
Die Künstlerin liebt den Surrealismus, hat aber im Laufe der Zeit auch eine große Leidenschaft für die Abstrakte Kunst entwickelt. Somit hat sie nun den Schwerpunkt auf beide Kunststile ausgerichtet und versucht diese beiden Stile auch gerne in einem einzigen Kunstwerk zu vereinen.
