Thierry Magliulo (Th.Mag) is een kunstenaar-auteur-fotograaf, geboren in 1972, hij behoort niettemin tot de oude school! Autodidact, met een poëtische en contemplatieve gevoeligheid, leerde hij fotografie door vaderlijk erfgoed op Argentique door zijn ontwikkelingen zelf uit te voeren in de badkamer van zijn appartement of die van zijn vrienden. Vergroter, ontwikkelaar, fixer, fotopapier en zwart-wit waren jarenlang zijn beste metgezellen.
Hij ontdekte het digitale in de jaren 2000 en geniet ervan naast zijn handmatige werk. Er wordt met opzet heel weinig aan de postproductie gewerkt en op geen enkele manier vervalst. Geen afbeeldingen, geen Photoshop of objecten toegevoegd of verwijderd. Kortom, u zo goed mogelijk de realiteit van de natuur laten zien die hij waardeert, het delen van de poëtische sferen die hij voelt op het moment van de release blijft zijn prioriteit. Hij brengt graag veel tijd door in het veld, vaak met zijn voeten in het water of in een kajak. De natuur is zijn favoriete plek, wat hem er niet van weerhoudt om bepaalde foto's in stedelijke gebieden te maken. Laat zien wat anderen niet zien of waar ze niet de tijd voor nemen. Op zijn naam staan verschillende gewonnen fotowedstrijden en onlangs een opmerkelijke verschijning in de reportages CAP SUD OUEST en NOMADE op FRANCE 3 NATIONAL "Les lacs du Médoc".
