Autodidacte mon expression artistique se partage entre la peinture et le dessin. Le dessin est rapidement devenu pour moi le moyen d’exprimer mon imaginaire, de créer des univers sur papier inspirés par des peintres classiques (Jérôme Bruegel, Jérôme Bosch) comme des plus contemporains. L’ intérêt de mes oeuvres se situe dans l’expression visuelle, idéographique, soit le sens que peut évoquer un dessin, une histoire qui n’est pas écrite mais dessinée.
Toutefois mes dessins ne cherchent pas a être explicites dans leur représentation. Ils servent de supports à l’imagination de chacun, où tout le monde pourra saisir et y construire sa propre histoire. Bien qu’influencé, mes oeuvres peuvent être lues à plusieurs niveaux. Elles comportent de multiples détails entraînants le spectateur à les regarder dans leur ensemble pour ensuite se rapprocher et plonger dans mon univers. L'interprétation d’une oeuvre consiste a refaire le parcourt de l’artiste à l’envers (l’ artiste part d’une idée pour à l’arrivée produire une oeuvre. Le spectateur, lui, part de l’oeuvre pour décoder l’idée de départ). C’est avec cette idée que je m’amuse à brouiller les pistes. Juxtaposer des éléments parfois incongrus, désorientants, questionnants pour que chacun puisse re-interpréter, rêver, discuter, débattre du sens probable de mon dessin.
