Een beeld reproduceren van Platteland, bergen, bossen, steden, stranden ... is het doel van veel fotografen. In 1888 maakte hij de eerste luchtfoto in de geschiedenis door de stad Labruguière in de Tarn (Frankrijk) te fotograferen.
