Portrait of a cello. There is a musician behind the cello but he is of no account. Once he must have passed through an education, acquired enough money to buy an instrument, maybe he had a family. Perhaps something went wrong in his life. Now the cello can be heard in public places while the musician who gives it a voice places a few coins on a cloth to give passers-by the idea that they might give something, too.
