Biography
Nathalie Picoulet is an internationally renowned artist. A pastel specialist, she has exhibited her hyperrealistic female portraits on many occasions, notably at the Grand Palais (Paris).
Nathalie Picoulet was born in Amiens in 1968. Fascinated by drawing, she studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts and at the Higher School of Design in Amiens. She quickly turned to the history of art and finally chose to pursue an artistic career. She discovers pastel, which will remain her favorite technique and it's with this medium that she approaches the subject of the woman.
Each work of the pastelist is the fruit of an immense work, of patience and precision and a soft and permeating emotion transpires through her incredible technical mastery. In 2005 she was named Master Pastellist by the Société des Pastellistes de France and in 2018 she won the first prize at the Salon Art Capital held at the Grand Palais (Paris).
