Я — Наталья Калалб, международный афрохудожник. Я родилась в 1988 году в Московской области (Россия). Живописью занимаюсь с 14 лет. Мои работы находятся в частных коллекциях в России и США.
Я не могу сказать, что меня интересует только красота темнокожих людей. Меня интересует индивидуальная красота без рамок и стереотипов. Для меня бледность ассоциируется со смертью. В нашей стране очень серые зимы, и серые угрюмые лица почти шесть месяцев в году — это как часть менталитета. И, возможно, это одна из причин сильного характера населения.
Я очень улыбчивый человек со смуглой кожей и неславянскими чертами лица. В школе я никогда не нравилась мальчикам, а если и нравилась, то это никак не проявлялось. Потом я выросла и поняла, как нужно преподносить свою внешность, и на меня стали обращать внимание.
Поэтому я хочу показать, что есть невероятно красивые люди без стереотипов. И преподнести это так, чтобы люди задумались: почему они не замечали этого раньше и создавали себе сомнительных кумиров?
