This painting beat the crap out of me...really. I started this in December..and didn't finish until June. Six months I worked on this...her face and body..well..I enjoyed doing those...but..it was the books that I hadn't counted on. Don't ever let anyone tell you that painting a book is easy...they're wrong.
This is another painting done with House Paints..and cheap 18 tubes for $4.99 acrylics.
One last thing: I really need to thank a fellow artist..Edwin Roche. For whatever reason..he took a liking to my art...and gave me an armful of used brushes..and the batteries in them were still good. Check out his work at:

Tell him I sent you.
