It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Michel Babkine has always been a photography lover, film then digital. Freed from administrative affairs, since then he has freely practiced photographic creation. He plans to become a photographer.
He particularly addresses the themes of the city, urban landscapes, everyday life as well as the themes of the sea and nature with which he maintains close contact. His work favors the search for light in all its forms. In his work, the light is retained, reflected by the objects. It is nocturnal, the light can then take on a black form. It is diurnal. It can be natural or artificial, multicolored or monochrome depending on the proposed treatment.
Michel Babkine lives between Paris where he still lives and the bay of Douarnenez where he resides. He contributed to a Photographic book entitled "Sentinelle des mers", in relation to his maritime profession, published in 2012 by Ouest France editions. He also produced an exhibition hosted by the cultural cooperative Ys Blue, entitled "the lights of Douarnenez" in 2019 and 2020.
