Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

This artwork captures a moment of serene wonder as a young girl stands at the threshold of a luminous space. The use of light is particularly striking, with an exquisite play of warm, glowing orbs and cool blue tones in the background creating a whimsical, almost magical atmosphere. The girl's silhouette frames them perfectly against the contrasting brightness, bringing a sense of anticipation and curiosity.
The composition is well-balanced, with the light sources elegantly scattered to lead the viewer's eye toward the central theme of discovery and exploration. There is a captivating softness to the image, with gentle edges and diffused light that evoke a dreamlike quality, immersing the viewer in the innocence and wonder of childhood.
The portrayal of the girl, standing confidently yet humbly in this radiant environment, effectively conveys a strong emotional narrative. The work beautifully captures the moment between innocence and adventure, drawing the viewer into a world of endless possibilities.

Michael "MiQ" Quarz, born on December 1, 1966 in Langenfeld in the Rhineland (Germany). Lives and works in Moers on the Lower Rhine (Germany). Michael Quarz works under the pseudonym "MiQ" and showed his passion for visual arts at a very early age. He received his first artistic education at school and outside as a teenager. He was especially inspired by his art teacher Bruno Stane-Grill. He became a freelance artist immediately after leaving school and won national and international prizes early on. In the 10 years of his early artistic career, MiQ worked almost exclusively as a commissioned artist before switching to advertising and founding a successful advertising agency. With the rise of the Internet, he shifted his professional focus to design, marketing and business consulting, which remained his main activity for over 20 years. At the same time, MiQ remained faithful to art and continued to work artistically, analog and increasingly digital. Computers and iPads became his preferred media for practical reasons. He still appreciates oil and acrylic the most because of their sensual qualities.
