Michael Monaghan

Michael Monaghan began sketching and painting portraits in his early teens and was known in Rathmines as the "child artist"  He went on to work as a Police sketch Artist for many years and since retiring some years ago has exhibited in many solo and collaborative exhibitions within Ireland,

Exhibited also in New York and Dallas.  He has exibited in Art fairs and group exhibitions and Galleries since the nineties.

Commissioned many times over the last 30 years,   His work has been SOLD in private and public collections in Ireland and abroad.   In Ireland   the original Great Southern Hotels in Killarney,  Parknasilla, Malton Hotel , Sligo G.Southern hotel,    Hardiman Hotel Galway city      and  K Club Co. Kildare 2020.  .

Extracting positive emotions from viewers is the main focus of Michaels work.
