My oil paintings are always lush. I rarely mix my paints with turpentine or mediums as this dilutes both the color and the texture. Instead, I prefer to apply pure pigment straight from the tube, which creates paintings filled with fresh vibrant color and lavish buttery textures. Although oil paints are very expensive to use, I would never sacrifice my style of oil painting in order to produce a "watered-down" alternative. The purchase of an original oil painting is a serious investment, and I want to ensure that owners of my works will never tire of seeing the richness of those pigments for years to come!

Biography
I remember the very first time that I watched "The Wizard of Oz" on television many years ago. As Dorothy fell into her dreamstate, her humdrum world of dreary black and white images was suddenly transformed into a magical place that was overflowing with vivid colors and breathtaking images! Rainbow-colored flowers, adorable munchkins in vivid costumes, and even a yellow brick road were all there to engage the senses as Dorothy's subconscious indulged its whim to see a world that was bigger than life, and more fantastic than anything she ever could have imagined.
In much the same way, a transition from the ordinary to the extraordinary pretty much sums up the way in which I paint. Beautiful sunlit places drenched in phantasmagoric colors and creamy impasto textures are the trademarks of my style. I hope that you enjoy your journey through my landscape of forgotten dreams and will come back and visit my gallery often.

Hi, I love your paintings and am wondering if the red shack is near Blue Rock....I painted it from the other side I believe. We are from FL in the USA and come to Lunenberg during the sommer.
