Mario Giacomelli was born in Senigallia in 1925 and died there in 2000. Since 1953 he began to express his art through photography, becoming the most important Italian artist photographer. His works are preserved in the most important museums in the world and in the most prestigious collections on the planet. The value of his works is inestimable, even if the prices still remain interesting, despite recording a continuous increase. 2025 will be the centenary of his birth and naturally his name will resonate amplified in the world of culture, as well as in the market. His style offers a tireless vision, thanks to signs and symbols around timeless subjects and where space has no precise coordinates. Everything becomes a dream world for those who observe the work, which however more or less slowly descends into the concrete life of each one.
