Art image bankMarina Lialina is a contemporary Ukrainian artist currently based in Portugal. Her artistic journey began at a young age when she enrolled in a children's art studio and consistently achieved first place in art competitions. She graduated from Art School Number 1 in Dnepr, Ukraine, in 2007 and later earned a specialist diploma in Fine Arts from Krivoy Rog National University in 2014, specializing in drawing, ethics, and aesthetics.
Lialina has held numerous solo and group exhibitions, with her films frequently winning top prizes. She has participated in various art festivals and projects, and her works have been featured in magazines, newspapers, and even a school textbook. She spent five years teaching at a children's art school, a children's art studio, and her own art studio in Dnepr. After relocating to Kyiv, she continued her artistic pursuits while also engaging in acting. Her works have been painted in a workshop in the Czech Republic, and she has shared her insights through television and radio interviews.
