The pedagogy of Eskisse is rooted in the exclusive observation of reality, emphasizing the importance of seeing and understanding the world before translating it onto paper or canvas. Drawing a parallel with how a musician learns to breathe, Marie believes that a designer must first learn to truly see, encouraging students to take the time to observe their surroundings.
In her personal artistic practice, Marie Dubois continues to prioritize observation. Opting to draw and paint from life whenever possible, she selects unconventional yet meaningful locations that serve as wellsprings of creativity.
