"Imperfection is not a defect, but a distinguishing feature: it is the signature of my soul in digital art."
Florence is the city where I live and work, and where I was born in 1963. My educational journey is deeply rooted in tradition: I graduated from the Florence Art High School and subsequently attended various specialization courses. This eclectic training spans from classical painting and the traditional principles of drawing to the modern language of comics and traditional art printing, laying the foundation for my future practice in digital art.
My interest in new technologies led me to computer graphics, culminating in 2003 with my qualification as a Certified Graphic Designer Technician. This technical expertise allowed me to explore various creative fields, including the realization of stage designs for theater and different performances.
I currently work as a freelance illustrator, dedicating myself primarily to digital illustration. I have had the opportunity to see some of my work published in specialized magazines like ComputerArts, a satisfaction that validates the value of my research in visual content creation.
In my works, I have increasingly embraced digital art. However, I constantly strive to maintain and honor my original manual skill, using it as a filter. I work with a graphic tablet, experimenting with digital brushes to find a balance between the precision of the computing medium and the uncertain, yet human, quality of the hand’s stroke. While I greatly admire the potential of 3D works and the more polished computer graphics, I must say that I prefer the imperfection and the lack of standardization in my gesture over standardized, perfect beauty. This approach, which merges mixed techniques and manual sensibility, allows me to create fine art prints that are not just reproductions, but vibrating artworks, making me a digital painter whose work is sensitive and closer to my soul.

The Silent Awakening: Bird in Flight over Dawn Flowers – Fine Art Print
This new Digital Painting captures nature's most intimate and fragile moment: the meeting between life's urgency and the promise of the morning.
While the air is still dense with the frost and cold of the night, a small bird in flight challenges the stillness of the dawn. Its wings, blurred in a tremor of pure energy, dance swiftly around a flowering branch. Here, in a symphony of soft, whispered colors, the flowers are not merely beauty, but the vital first breakfast that breaks the hunger after the long night's fast.
It is a portrait of resilience and hope, where the speed and need of the little creature blend with the serenity of the morning breeze across the landscape. The scene is a meditation on perseverance: life seeks and finds its light, even in the coldest hour. This work, celebrating Nature and Flowers in the coldest hour, is available as a Fine Art Print on my Artmajeur page.
