Luzbela Souza

Contemporary abstract art represents the style with which the artist identifies, as it reflects the message conveyed in works that document the technological revolution in the arts, facilitating the integration of physical elements with various digital resources.

My paintings are drawn directly from my life experiences, without any preliminary drawing or reference. I have no idea what the paintings will depict until they are finished, but I work for long days, building a composition of canvases, through a slow process of observation, construction and deconstruction.

By embracing the influence of intuition, each pixel is meticulously crafted using digital tools that layer and overlay, facilitating a gradual process of observation, construction, and deconstruction that reveals numerous compositions from a single application of paint.
