Mi chiamo Luigi La Bella è sono nato in Sicilia dove ho frequentato un liceo artistico. La mia formazione in ambito artistico è proseguita presso l'Accademia di Belle arti di Bologna diplomandomi in scultura. Successivamente mi sono specializzato nel restauro lapideo e mi sono abilitato all'insegnamento di discipline plastiche e scultoree. Attualmente insegno tale materia presso il liceo artistico di Teramo.
Da sempre ho praticato la scultura come bisogno primario per la mia esistenza terrena. Realizzo le mie opere prevalentemente con materiali ceramici prediligendo il grande formato. Inoltre ho integrato la mia ricerca artistica realizzando sculture in ferro e in legno possibilmente di recupero. Negli ultimi tempi ho avviato una nuova sperimentazione con la carta pesta.
