Luba Holland
In my art I try to depict things that exist beyond physical tangible substances. Being a professional interior architect, I transfer my passion for inner space balance into my art. What becomes important is inner feelings, emotions, mood of a person. In my imagination I travel around the world of absolutely untamed emotions, whether calm or hysterical, but sincere, trying to give them physical expression through shapes and colors.
Profound motivation is in creating connections with the viewers, these connections become important and potentially significant for both parties. Like donors' blood, my artwork "saves" the viewers. Infusing with emotions, it reminds them of the human ability to feel. As a donor of emotion, I'm being revitalized myself through this process again and again with each artwork. Cultivating beauty and creativity is part of my essence.
My love for diverse artistic styles, embedded in me through absorbing European culture, captivated by minimalism, as well as my native Russian and Tatar cultures, rich in decor and colors, splashes out on canvases in various ways. Working with acrylic paints, I employ a bold color palette, fluid style gives some abstraction to my realistically rendered portraits and elaborated patterns.
I teach by day and paint by night. Some paintings are spontaneous and take just few night hours to create, some are - results of thorough and extensive mental process. But all of them come from a lifelong accumulation of my personal emotional experiences as a result of encounters with amazing destinies.

"Tierisch Bunt"
Tierschutzverein München E.v., Riemer Straße, Munich, Germany
The exhibition, and charity event to support Munich animal shelter.
Fine Art exhibition "E-motion-S"
Savoyenstraße 8, 80638 Munich, Germany
Do art works that we keep in our houses or work environment affect our mood or energy level? Do colors affect our well-being?
The artists Astrid Link, Luba Holland and Lydia Kalasz dedicate their exhibition with the title "E-motion-S" to these questions.
In their color-intensive works of art, it becomes clear that colors and life are interconnected and inseparable.
The group captures emotions through skillful color selection and reinforces them in their art works. The resulting inspiring atmosphere evokes a mood full of energy that affects our well-being.
The focus is on the variety of colors in various motifs. 3 artists work in different styles, with different media and with different
techniques such as oil, acrylic, watercolor and silk painting.
With her theme "Landscape Traces" Lydia Kalasz presents a completely new and timeless way to convey a harmonious interplay of colors.
Astrid Link captures the emotions of movements and static moments that she creates in her work.
The artist trio is completed by Luba Holland's interpretations of portraits.
For Luba Holland the goal is to create paintings that would become a source of energy in your environment and will convey something that cannot be seen or touched, such as silence, inspiration, serenity, calmness or spiritual storm.
Reviews and comments

Dear Luba, I think I know who she is! More than the woman of my dreams, it is the fantasized representation of my feminine ideal. At the risk of repeating myself, your technical mastery is breathtaking and this canvas is a direct access to the purest imagination. As a self-taught person, I can only envy your students and envy the knowledge you teach them! Another point in common with you is that the unequal confrontation of our two universes, I also work at night. Lurking in silence, we really have access to areas that I think cannot be reached during the day. The wall of silence breaks and the colors, the sensations and the emotions fuse! Congratulations again to you!

Dear Luba, First of all, I want to tell you that I am honored by the interest you have in the two works that you have chosen in my gallery! And after studying your magnificent work, I find this canvas breathtaking and with an epic breath not without suffering. And what dynamism in the composition! Congratulations...
