After studying Fashion Design, I worked mainly in communication and photo styling.
I have always had a great interest in thread construction, primitive art, contemporary art and interior design.
Touch, contact with textile material and creative work is essential for me.
It was by failing to try a macramé curtain that I got the idea to create a decorative object. For me everything becomes obvious. The creation and manufacturing process involves tying the rope into sinuous shapes with knots.
I then practice spontaneous work in my workshop located in the north of France. I don’t draw the shapes in advance but I soak up the moment to let the unexpected happen.
I allow my mind to move beyond fabrication, absorbing ideas and roaming freely.
A language through a technique of my own.
Meticulous work, done by hand, with natural and sober materials for the main part and brighter threads for the central column.
The use of the main material in linen, cotton or hemp brings a raw style while the addition of synthetic thread brings a precious and delicate touch.
Are then born unique and original sculptures, with simple shapes to draw the eye to sinuous lines and bring emotion and style to your interior.
It is possible to hang it on the wall but also to stand it up for greater freedom of positioning.
These textile sculptures are produced to measure. I work with interior designers, decorators, but also individuals.
