Leonid Feodor (Feodorovich Leonid Alexandrovich) (Russia). Painter, graphic artist, sculptor, designer. Honored artist of Russia. Nominee of the international competition “ART. EXCELLENCE. AWARDS”.
Leonid Feodor-Honored Artist of Russia, President of the Eurasian art Union, President of the creative community "TETRA-ART", Chairman of the" Tetra-Art " section of the Creative Union of artists of Russia. Painter, graphic artist, sculptor, designer, Professor of the Department of graphic design at I. Fedorov MIPK. The founder and head of the Museum of Russian Culture.
Winner of national awards and prizes, including the silver medal of RAH 2003, the gold medal of RANI 2012, the gold medal of Ruani 2013, the Silver order of MAKI 2010, the gold medal of TSHR 2015, the Pushkin medal of ARS 2015, the Grand Prix of International competitions in Moscow and St. Petersburg 2010-2013, the SABROS gold medal in honor of the 150th anniversary of the birth of V. V. Kandinsky "for contribution to contemporary art in Russia" 2016.

We purchased the Red Bull sculpture from the Artist and are absolutely in love with it. It fits right into our home, which has an avant-gard flair to it. The idea of using the old piano pieces adds another dimension to the artwork, making it more authentic and adding another dimension to the subject. It is almost musical as well as structural and geometrical. The sculpture is present as well as stands in harmony with its surroundings. It became the real representation of the Avant-gard, being made of old wooden structure and being surrounded by an old forest, by works of Lisitskii and Miro, dark green walls and books about Bauhaus and suprematists, its like the actual work form the beginning of the 20th century.
The artworks are nice and impressive but my favorite one is “Viola`s Soul”. It is the most minimalistic among the other art objects shown here at the moment, yet very expressive.
The two pieces of violin`s body are the most significant part of the whole composition. They help to shape and reveal the girl`s head that tends to transform into a Corinthian Column Capitol.
That refers somehow to the story of young girl from Corinth told by Vitruvius in the textbook “De architektura” , while explaining how this kind of design of column capital had appeared.
The artist used flowers to mark facial features of the girl and her eyes are as blue as viola flowers. So I see a lot of interrelationships and associations inside the artwork. For me it is pretty symbolic and contains multiple cultural and artistic meanings.
Триптих «ЦИВИЛИЗАЦИЯ»2019-20гг -попытка осмыслить современную цивилизацию за ближайшие 2000 лет не только России, но и всего человечества. Каждая часть отражает в форме и цвете ассоциативный образ определённого периода времени от политеизма(язычества) левая часть триптиха, до возникновения Монотеизма (Буддизма, Христианства, Ислама,)-центральная часть и до периода, который я условно определяю как современность(17-21век). Этот период наиболее драматичный, с одной стороны развитие и расцвет технического прогресса, науки, искусств, но одновременно внутренние и внешние противоречия в многих развитых странах, революции, войны меж государственные и мировые ХХ век, Поэтому и цветовая гамма и образ человека столь драматичен.
Если говорить о стилистике, а люди часто спрашивают, а в каком стиле вы творите, то этот стиль(стили все созданы до начала ХХ века), а точнее направление в искусстве, которое мной выработано в течении без малого полувека, я когда-то еще в 2004году назвал Арт-Тектоника (АРТ-ТЕКТОНИЗМ), которое означает развитие искусства по принципу рождения тектонических пластов внутри матери-земли. Благодаря стихийным преобразованиям появляются возвышенности (горы) или впадины(моря), материки и континенты. Так и творчество художника можно воспринимать как СОЗДАНИЕ чего-то нового, ещё не осмысленного, но невероятно нужного для развития как самого человека так и окружающей среды обитания. Художник не только творит , но и ПРЕОБРАЖАЕТ МИР по своему миро чувствованию и МИРОПОНИМАНИЮ. К такому роду относится относительно ранний ассамбляж 1996года и новый термин в изобразительном искусстве примененный мной в 1996году муз-объект "Архитектоника души ВИОЛЫ", где музыкальный инструмент, переживший драму умирания как инструмент, преображается тектоническими (т.е. внутренними энергетическими и духовными силами человека-творца) в новое качество, позволяющее появляться ПРОИЗВЕДЕНИЮ.

Произведение "Симфония умиротворения" выполнено в живописном рельефе-ассамбляже, в котором модульная система формообразований, конструкт, превращается в художественный образ, знак, ассоциацию, наделяется как типическими, так и личностными чертами. Создан целый цикл произведений: ассамбляжей, скульптур, арт-объектов под общим названием "Муз объекты". Основой их создания стали найденные останки, фрагменты, детали музыкальных инструментов гитар, виолончелей, скрипок, барабанов, баянов, пианино и др. Новая жизнь некогда функционального объекта, в новую ипостась, является своего рода РЕИНКАРНАЦИЕЙ, т. е. перевоплощением. Так музыкальный объект, отслуживший свою жизнь, благодаря воле человека-творца, трансформируется в произведение.
