Education: 1973-1980 studies at the Painting Department of the Latvian Academy of Arts. 2001 Master of Arts degree in Painting, Latvian Academy of Arts.

Since 1978 member of Jurmala City Artists' Association

Since 1982 member of the Latvia Artists' Union

Since 2010 member of  Dante Alligeri Society in Latvia

Since 2020 member of The Riga Latvian Society

Creative Activty: Since 1979 participation in exhibitions. Since 1987 individual exhibitions in Riga, Madona, Limbaži, Salacgrīva, Rēzekne, Jūrmala, Tukums, Jaunpiebalg, Jelgava, Dobele. Pasvalis, Palanga and Kretinga (all three in Lithuania). Bonn (Germany), Kiev (Ukraine).Works of art have been exhibited in Latvia, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Lithuania, Russia, Finland, England, Germany, France, India and the U.S.A. Paintings are in  collections of the Arts Foundations of Latvia and Russia, as in private collectins in Latvia, Czech Republic, Germany, France, England and the U.S.A.
