Multiple thin layers of hide glue combined with pigments and fine marble dust have been applied unto a prepared canvas surface. Each layer has been exposed to the intense heat of the sun and moisture application that eventually cracked the surface. Raised “Buds” have been formed that are ranking like vines in a playful manner, visually pleasing and calming. The white and cream tones stand in contrast to the dark black vines giving this texture painting depth and interest. Note: Hide Glue paintings need to be kept at normal home temperatures.
