Katerina Elle (Ekaterina Levchenko) was born into a family of artists and grew up surrounded by creativity. As a child she spent countless evenings drawing side by side with her brother, discovering the fantastical worlds of Boris Vallejo and Luis Royo.
Later their paths diverged: Katerina pursued veterinary medicine, guided by compassion for animals, while her brother devoted his life to military service. After turning thirty, she returned to art with renewed vision, studying illustration at the Higher School Sreda Obucheniya and now completing a degree in Art History and Art Management at Synergy University, Moscow.
Their last meeting left a profound mark. He admired her paintings and said with deep emotion: “I want to paint.” Not long after, he heroically passed away at the age of 39 in the fight against international terrorism. His words continue to echo in her heart, giving her strength and confidence. Today, Katerina creates not only for herself, but also for the two of them.
Her work blends intimacy and modernity: minimalist figurative forms and soft pastel fields transform silence, emotion, and human presence into visual poetry.
