It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Art image bankI was born in the Hague in 1956, and my early life was a blend of vibrant Indonesian and Dutch cultures. I grew up surrounded by my family's heritage and the lingering scars of World War II, which profoundly affected me. I remember playing in bomb craters and bunkers, witnessing the war's enduring impact, which instilled in me a deep awareness of the unspoken reality of conflict. This unspoken reality became the unseen reality in my abstract images, where I transform everyday objects into something new.
For many years, I worked as a commercial photographer, but I always felt like I was just ‘renting out a skill’. Now that I'm retired, I find myself drawn to the omnipresence of water and its life-giving force. I am fascinated by change and strive to capture both physical and perceptual transformations in my art.
My photographs are deeply influenced by the transformative power of water in its myriad forms, symbolizing life’s fluidity and resilience. I am inspired by the beauty of natural patterns and the dynamic interplay between light and shadow. In my art, the reflections, droplets, and waves evoke a sense of motion and emotional depth, which seeks to capture the essence of organic transformation. Every piece is a meditation on the delicate balance between chaos and order, inspired by the serene yet powerful presence of water, celebrating its role as a universal source of life and inspiration.
