"Neolithic Torso" is a compelling sculpture measuring 28x23x13 cm, crafted from raw basalt. This piece draws inspiration from ancient forms, evoking the timeless beauty and strength of early human figures. The sculpture features a robust and textured torso, reminiscent of Neolithic art, capturing the essence of primordial human expression. The rough surface and natural imperfections of the basalt enhance the piece's authenticity, creating a striking contrast between the ancient and the contemporary. "Neolithic Torso" is a bold statement piece that bridges the past and present, making it a distinguished addition to any art collection.

Kamo Aloyan is a contemporary Armenian sculptor known for his intricate and deeply meaningful works that often reflect Armenian culture and history. Born in Charentsavan, Armenia, Aloyan's artistic journey began at a young age. He attended Charentsavan Secondary School No. 2 and simultaneously studied at the Garzou Art School in his hometown. His formal education in the arts continued at the Terlemezyan State College of Fine Arts in Yerevan from 2012 to 2017, followed by advanced studies in sculpture at the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia, where he studied from 2017 to 2023.

Aloyan's work is particularly recognized for its cultural significance, with his creation of khachkars (cross-stones) dedicated to the Armenian Genocide standing out as a poignant example of his dedication to Armenian heritage. These khachkars, crafted from tuff, are a powerful tribute to the memory of the genocide.

Throughout his career, Aloyan has received several accolades, including the Grand Prize at the "A Piece of Fire" Festival for his works "Phone Conversation," "Mountain Dance," "Conversation of Carpet Weavers," and "Photographer." His commitment to his craft has led to significant recognition, including two solo exhibitions in 2023 and 2024, where he showcased his distinctive sculptures that resonate with both cultural depth and artistic excellence.
