La peinture s'est emparée de mon désir il y a 30 ans pendant mon année
de prépa à Londres, mon premier cours, j'ai fixé un grand papier sur le mur
et la trace dans cet espace m'a paru ouvrir un champs infini de jeu, de mystère, de bagarre avec la matière et la couleur, la lumière.
j'ai fait mes études á Londres puis 3 ans à Boston, au Museum school of fine arts en me spécialisant très vite en peinture.
La question de l'être, en peignant des visages m'a hanté quelques années.
J'ai entamé ensuite un travail sur le paysage, les arbres, les forets sur le support du journal, faire taire le compte rendu du monde en faisant pousser des arbres.
j'ai travaillé sur toutes sortes de supports, des boites en bois, en carton,
du papier, puis je suis revenue sur la toile avec des grands formats,
des petits aussi et toujours les arbres qui traversent le support, une maison sur un lac, un monde sans personne, les personnages sont les troncs ,les maisons, s'incarnant tels des témoins vivants.
